SM project: Double disc finned calipers
In modern Supermoto, braking goes far beyond pure stopping power. Precision, rigidity and consistent performance become essential when the braking system is subjected to repeated braking and high temperatures.
From this requirement comes our new pair of racing brake calipers, developed to deliver a precise lever response, high structural rigidity and effective temperature management, even during the most demanding track use.
The caliper bodies are CNC-machined from solid 7075 Ergal aluminium in a monobloc configuration. This construction allows the geometries, weight and rigidity to be optimized, maintaining high levels of precision and stability during the most demanding braking phases.
The configuration with four pistons of uniform diameter per caliper, combined with a cooling system designed to promote heat dissipation, contributes to a progressive, precise and consistent braking response.
Technical Features
- 7075 Ergal Monobloc: bodies machined from solid and CNC-finished to provide rigidity, precision and resistance to stress.
- Self-ventilated pistons: four pistons of uniform diameter per caliper, designed to promote heat dissipation and limit heat transfer to the hydraulic circuit, maintaining consistent response at high temperatures.
- Cooling fins: the specific geometry increases the surface exposed to airflow, promoting heat dissipation and maintaining high performance during intensive use.
- Lightweight geometry: optimized ribs and material removal provide an excellent balance between rigidity and weight.
- Precision CNC machining: every functional surface is machined to ensure precise interaction between calipers, brake pads and braking system.
The result is a pair of calipers developed to work in synergy with our Supermoto brake discs and pads, delivering powerful, precise and consistent braking from the beginning to the end of the session.
Two 7075 Ergal monobloc bodies, four uniform-diameter pistons per caliper and a geometry designed for effective heat dissipation: every detail is engineered to handle the most demanding braking conditions.
The kit includes:
- 1x right brake caliper
- 1x left brake caliper
- 2x sets of carbon-ceramic brake pads
- 4x pre-drilled bolts for mounting to the fork leg
- Pre-drilled bleeding and fitting hardware
- 2x pad opening plates
Fork feet are not included in the kit.
