16x16 or 16x18
16x16 or 16x18?
Brake pumps exist in different versions, different types of levers and technical construction characteristics, but the fundamental thing for the choice is the size of the piston and what kind of use.
- 16x16: it is an extreme track version, the short run makes it ideal for the track.
- 16x18: it is the more street orientated version, the stroke of the lever is shorter but also slightly less powerful. with the same force exerted on the lever, the greater distance between the fulcrum of the lever and the piston decreases the force obtained and consequently braking power.
